Zurich, 28.11.2022 – SIT Learning, the next-generation educational partner for digital transformation, is becoming Constructor Learning, as part of the rebranding of Schaffhausen Institute of Technology (SIT) into Constructor.

Founded as Propulsion Academy in 2016, Learning has been acquired by SIT in 2021 and has benefitted since then from the growth potential and industry network from its parent company, SIT. Over the last 6 years, the company has grown to more than 750 alumni and a team of 35 employees.

With locations in Munich, Zurich and Dubai, Constructor Learning is offering 15 different programs in tech and management. Among them are the Master of management analytics, courses on the latest in data science, full-stack development, cybersecurity, Web 3.0 or strategy analytics, and customized programs for organizations.

Headquartered in Schaffhausen and founded in 2019 by Dr. Serg Bell, a long-time tech and education entrepreneur and investor, SIT has rapidly grown since its creation. It has become a global organization with 700+ employees from more than 17 countries, offices in 9 countries, 1.800+ students, and 6.000+ alumni from more than 110 nationalities in a multi-site campus. After a majority share taken into Jacobs University Bremen, the development of a hub and spokes model for our research capacities, growing commercial entities, and increased projected funding to 100+ M EUR, the brand had to reflect this expansion better and unify the entire ecosystem under one name: Constructor.

Constructor aims to address the main challenges of the world through science, education, and technology. The ecosystem combines extensive offers covering the entire learning lifecycle, research capacities, along with solutions for education and research.

The Constructor ecosystem comprises Constructor University, a non-profit, research-centric faculty that offers 25+ accredited programs from bachelor's to master's and Ph.D. The private, English-language University offers multi-site locations, with the #1 private university in Germany (THE ranking) - the former Jacobs University in Bremen - and an institute in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. It benefits from partnerships with high-ranked universities such as Carnegie Mellon, the University of Geneva, and the National University of Singapore, and technology companies such as JetBrains, Anisoprint and ChemDev.

Constructor's research focuses on five fundamental technology global trends: general intelligence, quantum technology, intelligent materials, hybrid reality, and life engineering.

The several for-profit entities make the entire ecosystem sustainable, and provide technology infrastructures, solutions, and complimentary services to the University:
- Constructor Learning: Next-generation educational partner for digital transformation.
- Alemira by Constructor: Digital ecosystem for education and research.
- Rolos by Constructor: Accelerate and simplify the research lifecycle.
- Constructor Capital: Early-stage venture capital for science, technology, and digital transformation.

From Michelangelo in science & arts to John von Neumann in computing and Adrien Newey in Formula 1, Constructor is inspired by forward-thinkers committed to solving the challenges of their times. Constructor group aims to pursue the legacy of Constructors by providing solutions & services in science, education, and technology, and by educating the new generations that will address the world's most pressing problems with a renewed mindset and adequate knowledge.
