fairQ: Simplifying waitlist management

Students: Gábor Tari, Sneha Chougule, Alexander Müdespacher, Edit Guntermann

Have you ever found yourself on a waitlist for months, or even years, without any updates or clarity on your application status? Whether it's securing a family garden slot, a coveted spot in a sports club, or a daycare place for your child, navigating the complexities of waitlists can be an arduous and frustrating experience. Thankfully, a solution is in sight - introducing fairQ, the platform for transparent and efficient waitlist management.

An example of fairQ

Bid farewell to the frustrating waiting game. fairQ steps in with an intuitive platform that benefits both applicants and organizations. Streamlined and user-friendly, it's a game-changer for efficient waitlist management.

Here's a brief look at how it works:

  1. Transparent application process: Applicants gain access to a clear and straightforward application process, allowing them to apply for their desired waitlists online, anytime, and from anywhere.
  2. Real-time updates: No more waiting in the dark! On the dashboard, applicants can see real-time updates on application status, their position in the queue, and the estimated remaining waiting time - ensuring that they are informed and engaged throughout the process.
  3. Configurable management: Organizations can tailor the waitlist to their specific needs, such as defining the data they need to collect from applicants. This flexibility, combined with an automated system with automated checks of applicant interest, makes managing waitlists more efficient, reducing paperwork and administrative burdens.
  4. Verified identities: To ensure the credibility of applicants, fairQ offers an option for organizations to accept only verified identities. This entails the fairQ team confirming the validity of the ID or passport scan/photo provided by the applicant.
  5. Insights and data exports: fairQ's built-in analytics provide organizations with valuable insights that can help further enhance their waitlist processes.
