Women++
Women needing financial assistance can apply for a scholarship for their data science or developer bootcamp
How it works
They offer a 50% scholarship for women starting or transitioning careers into Data Science or Software development. The discount is calculated based on the in-person price (even if you attend remotely).
Eligibility
Female applicants for the Data Science or Full-stack Coding Bootcamps through Women++ who require financial assistance are invited to apply for our scholarship. This scholarship is available for one student per cohort and is exclusively for those enrolling in a full-time bootcamp in Zürich. Please note that the scholarship will be applied only to the in-class tuition fees: CHF 11,400 for the Full-stack Coding Bootcamp or CHF 12,700 for the Data Science Bootcamp, regardless of whether the program is attended remotely.
Tax deduction for education costs

How it works
In Switzerland, you can deduct your education costs from your taxes - up to CHF 12’000 for state tax and CHF 12’700 for federal tax. This amount can vary depending on the canton you live in.

Stadt Zürich
Get financial aid from the city of Zurich
How it works
From January 2023 you can apply to the City of Zurich and request financial assistance to start a new career. Consultation is free and if your application is accepted you will receive money for the training.
Eligibility
You need to be at least 20 years old, have lived in the city of Zurich for at least 2 years and have been working for the last 5 years on a low income. Most importantly, this applies only to those who have not completed any training in more than 3 years.
Stipendium Zurich
Discover which foundations you can apply to
How it works
Stipendium has partnerships with individual foundations, and they can advise you where you can apply to. Simply make a request on their platform, and if they accept your case, you pay a small fee of CHF 78.-. Afterwards, you receive a list of foundations you can directly apply to.

You need to be a Swiss resident or have a minimum of a B permit. (Applications are done in German)
Educa Swiss

Educa Swiss is a Swiss foundation that aids motivated individuals seeking low-interest loans to study. They provide free support during planning, budgeting, and arranging low-interest educational loans.
